On April 1st Nintendo announced a new voting system for adding new characters to Super Smash Bros, be it upcoming DLC or even showing them what characters would make great newcomers in Smash Bros 5.We all have the characters we want to see come back or debut but I feel now's the time for Daisy to shine. In recent years it seems she's been pushed out of the way for Rosalina (Who got to be playable in 3D World? Rosalina. Who got to be playable in Smash? Rosalina. Who got an Amiibo? Rosalina.) and I feel Daisy would be perfect to add to the roster, or heck even as a model option for Peach like Wii Fit Trainer(male), or Alph.
Now you may be thinking "Why should I vote for someone who is pretty much a clone of Peach? Doesn't Peach already have the Daisy pallet anyway?" but let me tell you a few things: 1- a color pallet is a color pallet, not the character. It may be based on Daisy but it's still Peach's model and voice and 2- Isn't Lucas pretty much blond Ness and from the reactions I've seen he got a warm welcome, plus Lucina is pretty much a clone of Marth and she's amazingwhile Marth is... Merth.
We all have a choice to make so submit your favorite, but if it's true that you can vote more than one then perhaps take some time out to vote for a certain Sarasaland princess.

I agree with what you're saying, except one thing...
Why is she pushed out for "Rosalina" ?
I understand we can dislike/hate a character, or just feel neutral about it, but you're saying that Rosalina's taking the legitimate Daisy position ?
And why didn't you say "Bowser Jr." ? He wasn't playable for a while, it's sure, but... He did appear as a vilain in the last 2D Mario, will have an amiibo and is playable in Smash...
And, if Rosalina wasn't here, what's telling you Daisy would be more playable ?
Sakurai said he wants the amiibos of characters he likes.
He actually wanted to have Rosalina (well, he didn't get it because of out of stock), so I guess he likes Rosalina, and that is why she's in Smash in addition with the new gameplay mechanic she uses.
The fact is that, if Daisy is winning (which I doubt a lot, because of Geno, and others, and the fact there's 5 Mario's characters, and if one more is accepted, I'm pretty sure the fans will scream for that), she will certainly wear her sport outfit... But, they would be an injustice here. If Daisy is playable with her sport outfit, why wouldn't Waluigi be playable ?
And there's will be clone problems if both playable and in sport outfit.
And if she wears her dress... Well, it is maybe possible, but I see more options for the sport outfit.

I've always felt that when it came to the characters of Mario the dynamic was always Mario and Luigi as the bothers and Peach and Daisy as the princesses and to me it feels like the dynamic has switched to Peach and Rosalina, even though she's more space god than a princess. I understand that she is popular and I'm not saying she shouldn't be in those games, saying such would mean I wouldn't want Bowser Jr or Duck Hunt (both characters I've fallen in love with), and yes there are other characters that I can see as being more worthy than Daisy such as Waluigi and Birdo (both of whom I'm considering also voting for if you can vote more than once, along with Isabelle. Tell me that would not be amazing to see XD), but this is coming from a person who sees Daisy as their favorite character from the Mario franchise who has been wanting to see her get more of the lime light for a long time. Maybe it's a bitterness growing from the fact that Daisy is a much older character while Rosalina is much newer and has already started to become as iconic as Peach, but again that's just my perspective of it. (and the announcement of no Daisy or Waluigi Amiibo didn't help it. *prays for an update that adds them* )
I wish no ill will towards her fans (my best friend in fact is a Rosalina fan who mains her in Smash, Mario Kart, and Mario Party 10.), nor Nintendo or Sakurai or course (and the line on the poster "Tired of Rosalina co-ordinating committee" is just a joke on the actual line from the original We Can Do It poster "War production co-ordinating committee" playing off these opinions 
I don't think Daisy would be in her sports gear though, I can easily see them using the dress and Peach as a base for it (Heck, I even told them they could just make her share Peach's slot like Olimar & Alph or Bowser Jr. & the Koppa kids when I submitted my original ballad.

Well, if she becomes a Peach altskin, she would have the hearts attacks, the rainbow attack... Something strange for someone related to flowers.
But, then, I maybe was too direct.
In fact, Rosalina isn't as popular as Peach, Peach being like the recordwoman of the number of kidnapping and the female character appearing in the most games, and the only main female character of the Mario series (then, if Rosalina appears in one more main games, I will say she's main).
However, I agree on the actual duo being Peach and Rosalina, and the future will tell us what will happen. That's quite... Interesting.

Oh... But Daisy isn't the type to do such attacks... She isn't girly, unlike Peach. She would need another moveset.

Ideally, I would like to see Daisy be a unique character with her own moveset, but if she does become an alt/skin of Peach, it's not too big a stretch to change the heart effects into flowers. After all, many of the sports titles had her using flower effects in her special moves.
Or are you talking about the moves themselves? Because, yeah, they'd really have to rework the poses and effects to better capture Daisy's personality.

If she becomes Peach's alt, she will have Peach's poses and Peach's effect. Or she totally becomes Peach, or she has a unique moveset as a different character.
And I have to say that I prefer the second option.
