Description         Charles stands in the center of a magnificent court room. Its beauty is only magnified by architecture from all over the world. There are even forms of architecture that the human world has yet to see. The building contains mostly arcs all around the walls. It gives it a look similar to that of the coliseum, but this place has pillars between the arcs, a design similar to that of the ancient Greeks. Within the center of each arc is a hand painted picture. Each picture is that of an angel painted directly on the stone. Even with its incredible architecture the most noticeable design of this building is that it has no selling, doors, or windows. That might be because the angels would just fly in and they have the power to stop the rain or create an invisible roof encase a roof is necessary. This also means that lights aren't necessary, sunlight is all they need and if there isn't any son an angel can create a small one. The court room is also a haft cylinder. On one side of the room contains the seats and on the other side contains an open area with weird markings on the floor.
The markings on the floor are from an alchemy circle similar to that of ouroboros. The ouroboros has several meanings interwoven in it. The foremost view of the symbol is the symbolism of the serpent biting, devouring, and eating its own tail. This symbolises the cyclic Nature of the Universe, creation out of destruction, Life out of Death. The ouroboros eats its own tail to sustain its life, in an eternal cycle of renewal. Alchemically, the ouroboros is also used as a purifying glyph and those are the reasons that it is there, to symbolize the purification and everything about the beginning and end. Alchemy is a science practiced by the angels for many years and it was through the angels that humans discovered alchemy, but humans never had the power to use alchemy’s fullest potential, because it is a power that someone is born with and it can never be earned.
On the side of the building containing the seats have three levels. Each row follows the next. The back row of seats is also the highest and each one of those seats are bronze and everything within this row is also bronze. The next row, which is also the middle row, is constructed of entirely silver, just like the row the bronze row. The front row, which is also closes to the bottom, is all gold. Each seat is comparable to a medieval throne. Even the cushions on each throne match in colour of the stone throne, the cushions are constructed of pure Egyptian cotton and the padding inside the cushions is a fabric so comfortable that it makes a butt sink. The only problem is that it is from a plaint that never grew on earth so humans might never fell it. The only difference between the thrones of the medieval kings and angels is a unique shape at the back of each seat designed to fit massive wings. One last detail of this building’s design contains not an item but a feeling. It somehow as the feeling that it is connected to nature, the fact that the pillars resemble trees might have something to do with that.
Charles stands on top of the ouroboros symbol as a barrier formed of electricity creates a dome around him. The dome prevents any type of escape. This is Charles’s trial, but not to decide if he is innocent, but to determine his punishment. There are thirty seats in front of Charles. There are ten seats for each one of the rows, ten gold seats, ten silver seats, and ten bronze seats. In each seat is an angel wearing a large robe that completely covers their bodies and on the back of each one is a symbol that represented their rank. Each number isn't like any number people see on earth, but their own ancient numbers the oldest of angels remember their origins.
Each seat contains an angel, but two. It is common for seats to be empty, even the politicians in an angel world don’t want to be a part of every trail. However this time Charles changes things. No member of the court wanted to miss a trail as important as this. That is way the empty seats are that much more important. These two empty seats are never considered to be the most important, but to Charles they are no more important machines because one is his own seat and the other belongs to his brother. Charles is, or should it be was a bronze angel. His former rank was 28, one of the lowest ranking angels there. His low rank might be because he hated his job. Things could be also said the only reason he had a rank was because of his brother. Tristan always wanted to do his part to make his world a better place and was always a prodigy with exceptional talent at everything he did. Tristan is ranked eleven and is the highest silver angel and is also the youngest among them. This is the first time Tristan ever mist a trail, he even showed up to the boring and pointless trials. As Charles witnesses this court room for the first time from and opposite view his eyes turn to Tristan’s seat. As he notices his brother’s absence he shouts “where is he! He must be here, how dare he not even show up.”
“Silence,” shouts one of the angels. This angel isn't an ordinary angel he is ranked number one and it is for a reason. Other than his gold robe the only thing that is visible is his face. His face cracks with age and it wrinkles in wisdom. Every scar and there is a lot marks bout his strength and experience. He has long silver hair matching in length with his long silver beard. Both his hair and beard are so messy it looks like a bird lived in it. He is the one in charge and it is his final say that determines the Charles’ fate. His name is Enlil. The name is of Sumerian origin and has been believed to mean 'Lord Wind' though a more literal interpretation is 'Lord of the Command'. The Sumerian religion says that when Enlil was a young god, he was banished from Dilmun, and found his own world that he created with Ninlil his wife and his children. Enlil’s real story is very similar to that. All of the angels that are alive today are descendants of Enlil and the small group of angels he called his family. Angels are the children of gods and are still viewed as gods by many others. Just like the Sumerians believed in them many other cultures believed in the same Angels, but some just give them different names.
“Charles you were seen interfering with the lives of creatures from another world and not just that you murdered many of them. You know that it is against our laws to interfere with their lives” says Enlil. Charles doesn't say anything at first, but he eventually has the courage to say “I saved their lives, so what did I do wrong, why did they run from me.” Enlil response with “the fact that you did it was never a question, but the why you did it is my question.” So Charles tells the angels all about what he saw. He includes every cruel action the bandits committed and every action he was forced to take.
After Charles’s story Enlil tells him that he has a story to tell him. “There once was a village that was tormented by a horrible demon. This demon would kill a child every night. So the villagers prayed every night and day. They prayed for something, anything to save them from the demon. One day their prayers came true and an angel came from the heavens to save them.” Charles interrupts the story by screaming “my brother told me this story already” and Enlil’s response is “but you did not hear the rest of this story.” So Enlil continues the story. “This hero that the people called there angel told the people that he was able to save them. So that night the hero went to fight the demon in a devastating battle the hero killed the demon. The hero killed the demon but now his body was stained with the blood of the demon and that turned him into the think he killed a demon. After that day the hero was never seen by the people. Many still view him as demon greater than the one he killed”
“Charles couldn’t you see how your story is the same as the one that I just told. Like him now you are a demon. I and the rest of the council will decide on a just punishment for the crime that you have committed.” That is exactly what they did, but they block out any sound traveling towards Charles. He isn't able to hear a single word. He can only wait as his fate is being determined. Charles doesn’t care about what happens to him, because during that silence the only thing he wants to do is say goodbye to his brother. He knows in his heart that his brother is all he had and it is the same for Tristan. They also made a promise that they would never leave each other and that he was going to leave his brother, but from the looks of things his brother already left him.
The silence is broken only when Enlil finally says “the council has decided on what we feel is the most appropriate punishment.” Before any could say “any last words” Charles says in a very low tone “please tell my brother that I always loved him and still do.” After dose words Enlil has his own last words “we killed the demons and now you have become one. That is why you will walk the planet that you want to protect so much as a monster. We will see if you could become something more than a killer. The people will see you as a demon till the day you die and maybe someone else takes your spot at being a demon.”
That is when Charles’s body starts changing, his bones crack and his limbs stretch. Charles ignores both his pain and the changes happening to him. The change begins as his feathers fall from his body. They don’t stop falling until the last of his feathers lay on the floor both dirty and lifeless. From his feathers change turns to his skin. His skin transforms into a blood like red or the color crimson. Then the same skin turns into some sort of metal and his clothes and hair fade away. His image goes from an angel to some kind of machine with large metal hands and a large metal body. The best way to describe it is a knight’s armour, but the armour is also his skin. The change isn't complete. He starts growing in size at an alarming rate till he reaches a height over twenty feet tall. The only way to describe the thing he now is with crimson giant. This crimson giant has no mouth, but he does have to glowing lights for eyes. He can see people suffering but he cannot tell them that he is not a monster.
His face marks the end of his transformation. With a different body comes a different world. The earth beneath his feet begins to crack as everything shake. From cracks and shakes the floor moves on to crumbling and deteriorating. Soon there is no longer a floor beneath his feet. Without wings Charles plummets to into a bright light. As he passes through the light Charles finds himself above the earth. As gravity pulls him down he continues to fall to the earth. His body is a meteor crashing into the earth. Charles hits the earth so great a massive crater is created and forms a shock wave so powerful it kills all the surrounding vegetation. The real problem is from an impact so great it knocks Charles out cold. Charles remains in that crater until this very day and something or someone is finally able to find him.
