Description Chapter 5: island

Tristan’s eyes open to the welcoming light of one of two suns of this world. The second is blocked by a tree Tristan leans against. He no longer resides in his own world. He now sleeps in world without angels. A long time ago Tristan once found this world with his brother and a friend. It was ever since that day this world became a home away from home. He calls it his sanctuary, because it is the place that he is able to relax and forget about all his problems. This time he has a problem with his brother and he couldn't do anything.
This world is a world in the skies. The planet is a small with lots of mountains going over the clouds and at the same time the clouds are very close to the ground. No creatures live on the land below the clouds, mostly because every animal living on this planet is capable of flying. The animals live on the mountain tops or the millions of islands that float in midair. The planet has its world shape, but at the same time it has a series of world pieces. Landmasses, with or without internal seas, float suspended in the atmosphere. They range from the size of tiny islands as small as a chair to huge continents with enough room for vast civilizations.
This kind of world would be impossible under physics resembling the human world. Worlds of this type are found exclusively in fantasy and most fantasy worlds are as real as the book that tells them. What keeps land mass hovering in this is something unknown. When Tristan found the planet it was already like this. When he questioned oldest of animals and plants through the use of his angel abilities he discovered nothing. Every form of life in this world all remembers the planet with floating islands. Where does the gravity come from? What's keeping the atmosphere in place? Are some questions that are asked about planets like this, but this one nobody knows? Tristan decided long ago he is going with “maybe an angel with great power did it?”
The island that Tristan floats on is a favorite of his. It has flowers and plants growing like crazy all over this land mass. The tree that Tristan is under is a giant tree so big that it covers the entire island and its roots are so long that they stretch out of the bottom. There are many other amazing things about this and many other floating land masses, including one that is upside down and another huge one with a civilization filled with people no taller than a foot. In the end Tristan chose this island to be his own. Tristan also constructed his own tree house within the giant tree, this way he can spend as much time has he wants in this world. The tree is so big that Tristan’s three floor tree house and a second smaller tree house still see tiny in comparison to the tree. This world is perfect for anyone that can fly just like Tristan and Charles.
Tristan spends every moment in this world that Charles spent locked within the tower. Even in different worlds the brothers never stopped thinking about each other. From the start Tristan believed that it is his job to enforce the law and if it was anyone else they would be punished. Tristan begins to believe maybe his brother should be punished. However even if that is the right answer he still can’t watch what’s going to happen to his brother. Tristan fights his thoughts, but he still thinks like this up until the day before the court trial. It was during a friends visit that things changed. This friend already knew everything and it is during a long conversation he tells Tristan “Laws are important, but not all laws are right and sometimes we need to stop following the laws and fight for what is right. Or how else are we going to protect the ones that are important to else. Tristan sides with the law during the conversation, but once he is alone he begins to think and thoughts begin the change.
That night Tristan tosses and turns still thinking about what he must do. He is up most of the night having constant nightmares. Once up he became impossible to fall asleep. Thinking is the obvious culprit to the lack of sleep, but no one can turn off thinking. The rising of the sun marks his last chance to decide should he or should he not help his brother. Tristan wakes up late into the day and he already knows that he is saving his brother.
Tristan assembles his armour as fast as possible grabs his two sabres with one hand and runs for the door. He leaps through the doorway as his wings spread and he takes flight. He flies straight open directly through layers of tree branches. The branches don't even slow Tristan down, because as his soul burns, so those every branch blogging his path. Once past the tree he continues to fly straight into the sky and then straight into space. When it appears he is going into space he teleports into his own world. Travelling through dimensions doesn't even come close to slowing him down. He heads to the courtroom like a bullet. With every mile he passes he goes that much faster and he pushes himself that much further. Though even with his incredible effort and inhuman determination he’s too late. His brother already started to change into a monster by the time he reached the angel world. The moment he got to the courtroom he could only watch as his little brother falls to the earth as an unrecognisable monster.
