I think his fist needs to be turned a bit, with the thumb facing us, as well as his face, but his eyes still looking towards the direction he is going, and his arm stretched out straight forward.

What if he doing an upper cut?

I was gonna consider that another possible pose.
It looks alright for an upper-cut, except he might have to be rotated a bit clockwise. Also, his fist is fine the way it is, but perhaps his arm may need to be stretched out. And perhaps his body a bit more curved and bent to show the action of him coming in and shooting his fist upwards (with this tail also adding to the curve action). Also, to add more to the dynamic, his head should be looking the other way but his eyes still aimed up at his fist or the target.
