NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, I SHIP THEM _SO PALE_. They're perfect! Tavros is all in tune with nature and shit and wouldn't approve of the desecration of the oceans and doesn't want to see anything suffer, including sea life, and that's a rare quality in a land troll, and he's got this quiet strength and honesty to him that even someone like Eridan would have to admit is remarkable, lowblood or not. He's stronger than Eridan in a lot of ways, and there's something admirable in that, and all Eridan really wants is someone to listen to him and take him seriously and not brush him off and Tavros totally will cos he's that way, and it really changes how Eridan thinks of lowbloods and landwellers and Tav can control those little outbursts because he LISTENS and when Tav's honestly talking about how he knows he needs to change Eridan's like "shut up, you're perfect the wway you are, shitblood" because he never really stops being a dick but Tav understands and AHHHH.
