Thank you very much for your comment Mazi !!!!!! Coming from you it means a lot to me !!!!!! She was sittng there like this sulking about something . I shot one photo and her Mother saw me taking it and made her get up .. I did get one more before she did , but one of the two is slightly blurred . So I was thrilled that I got one out of it and this is one of my most favorite photos from several trips to the Japanese Festival in St. Louis !!!!!

Having spent several years in Japan I have an affinity for the kimono. This is a very nice, poinent (?sp) shot. I like it a lot!

They are quite comfortable. I prefer them to American closthes...even though my parents get angry when I do where one of mine.

When I lived in Taiwan the favorite dress for around the house was kind of a Chinese version of a male kimono. Perhaps the most comfortable and comforting garment I ever wore. It is sadly missed.....
