My favourite character from the Shan universe. I think it's bittersweet how he and Darren initially made it their business to make the other as miserable as possible, and eventually cultivated a very strong father/son bond throughout the series.Dedicated to two of my favourite ladies on here: ~Ashley-Elric and ~freekishgal .
They're incredible artists! Please go check them out!
Any and all critique would be awesome for when I try and re-do this/finish it.

I can't really critique this because I SUCK (lol lame pun is lame) at drawing men, but the coat jacket could be a tad higher when you come around to re-doing this/ finishing it.
I like disgruntled Mr. Crepsley.

Does he not have a scar across his face? I'm sure it's Crepsley who has a scar he strokes. Or maybe I'm thinking of the Beggar Lord in the Haunting of Alaizabel Cray.
Was your lineart hand drawn and then scanned? My one critique would be that the area looks a bit smudged and dark, so I'd adjust the cleanness of the lineart, but this is a WIP so I won't whinge and whine about it! I love Crepsley, and adore seeing him brought to life by fans!

Yeah, Crepsley has a scar on the left-side of his face that runs from the bottom of his cheek to his temple - but on the pic, the angle of his face made it so that it wasn't seen.
You are completely right though, he has a large scar on his face! ^_^
Yeah, the thing was drawn in pencil, scanned, and then coloured with Gimp.
Sure, I can try and recreate the lineart digitally when my computer works again!
By all means say all you want - I certainly don't see it as whining or whinging - It's all great advice to make better artwork!

XD I just started reading Ocean of Blood today- It arrived a week or so ago but I've been really busy. I LOVE young Crepsley haha.
And no problem- if I see an artist wants Critique, I try to put some detail into my comment; I've only done one real Critique so far, but I hate nitpicking at other peoples' art when I know I should be nitpicking my own! D:

I am really enjoying reading about the young Larten 
And I'm loving all the characters that are popping up in this series. I'm a bit of a Vancha fangirl, so I like that he's in these books. Same goes for Arra, I really liked the little bit of time she had in Darren's story. I'll be interested to see if she turns up again at all.
It's fun to read about an event (like Arrow's life for instance) and remember it all being mentioned in the original saga. I read them all from the library so it's been a while since I had an opportunity to read the Saga of Darren Shan- I got a little obssessed with the Demonata story for a while, perhaps I'll dip into my funds at some point and actually BUY the books like I've done with Master Crepsley
