Thank you~~! This was the first animation I did of Yotsuba... and honestly, I can't remember how long it took me, since I did different reactions, and I added the other characters in the back. It must've taken me almost a month altogether, off and on. I did each round separately, completely finishing it, before working on the next round (I first finished the scene with Jumbo and Touchan completely, before going onto Fuka and the others)

You totally should do a Caipirinha dance~! Who are you going to do?

Wow! Good work! You're very determined! I love the fact that you added so much detail and so many characters, it's wonderful.

I have a question, though - where did you get the song? I can find the full original and remix, but I can't seem to find the version that is used for these videos! Or did you edit it yourself so it'd fit?

I'm just learning Flash and seem to be doing pretty good (except for adding audio), so I'm doing the Caipirinha with Switchfoot, my favorite band. Surprise! It's not an anime or manga! It amuses the fans to no end when I do things like that. It also gives me a ton of practice, since there are 5 members and they're all completely unique. I scheduled it's completion in 2 months so I don't have to kill myself. I posted a small work-in-progress shot here: [link] Look at little Jon go! I finished that bit in about four really long days.

For the song, I ripped it straight from the Youtube video. I have a program that can rip audio from any streaming audio or video. I can send it to you if you'd like ^^

Wowow~ It looks great already~!! It's going to be awesome when you are finished! It's really cool that you are doing a band instead of an anime/manga~ It's going to be pretty amusing to see them all dance like that~ 4 days isn't too bad, considering you have to draw each panel, color each one, and then put it together~ I can't wait to see it when you are finished~

For Capirinha, I used iMovie to piece together... with my latest animation, I used Flash, but then added the audio later in Windows Movie Maker... I'm not really sure how to work the audio in Flash... ^^

I stayed up too late coloring those frames. I'm fast while coloring with markers, but slow with photoshop, even with a tablet. I am, however, looking forward to drawing Jon in a gorrila suit, a pinstripe fedora and with various expressions in the slo-mo frames. It's all signature behaviour.

Well, if I ever find out how to work audio in Flash, I'll let you know if I haven't died!
Currently, I'm learning from Adam Phillip's book-in-progress at BiteyCastle.com, maybe he'll mention something about it soon.

Putting in all the personal touches, and making each character unique in the animation is so much fun~ I really need to get my butt into gear... I'm working on another animation... it's not another internet meme, but instead, I'm parodying an anime ending... ^^ Let's see if I can do it... haha...

I haven't gotten very far on my animation as of late, because I have an art request that needs to be finished. Scrounging up spare time even on school vacation is difficult.

And yes, as you can see, it's even difficult to find time to respond to the nice messages I get. Sigh! I don't think I'll have more then a few days to work on my animation this month as I just finished a Secret Santa gift yesterday and still need to finish an album art request and a contest entry, along with a piece to send with Christmas cards.

So, that said, I hope you have a great Christmas filled with cheer and joy and joyness and get a big box of spare time!
