They always say Cubone is the saddest* Pokémon, but I think that plucky little guy shows gumption! I like to imagine I found my Cubone as he was setting off on a grand adventure. He may curl up at night, but during the day he's out on his own in the great, big world

This is the first piece I created start-to-finish in Manga Studio 5, coloring and all. Usually I only color in Photoshop but wanted to stretch out in MS5 and learn the all-new painting tools. It was a little frustrating and there's still much to learn, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

* (I would argue any ghost-type Pokémon have a hold on the "saddest" description, cause by definition they're... you know, dead... and stuck as ghosts! /geek)
