Description And we resume our narrative of our very own goddess of journey, Alina. The moon yearned for the light of the sun, waning beyond a gibbous to a frown of a cresent. The ocean began to slowly defy its pull. The people of the night stumbled in the dim. The stars thrusted their taunts at the moon with every twinkle. Troubled and fearful, the moon came to the thought of the most radiant servant of the sun: our story's very own Alina. Perhaps she could satiate the hunger of the moon. She sent Avery on a special quest to capture the damsel of the daylight. The message arrived with the whisper of the sudden tides, and Avery gave ear to it but only began the second night.

Avery journeyed till the sun charred the horizon. A clearing between grassy hills, he found Alina, expectant and graceful with the softest hint of pride. They traded no words, and the combat was quick as it was underhanded. Avery was carved by the moon for Alina's very demise, a weaver and wielder of enchanted rope that ensnared and rendered her helpless. His victory was the second, yet Alina still chose to fight.

Avery chained Alina to a pillar on a towering mountainside, closest to the winter moon. The sun fell, and Alina's strength dwindled at a nightly breeze. Avery stripped her of her crown, and her robes unfurled to pearly white, flaunting her body all the more. The heroine struggled against her chains as the moon rose; all under Avery's eyes. The moon gravitated closer to the earth's face, and all the more Alina felt mortality ripen inside of her. The moon glowed with energy as it feasted on Alina's strength, its rocky face open and no longer distant. Then, suddenly, Avery shot straight at the moon, propelling his body with superhuman strength. The moon, shocked at this, rippled against the impact. No longer was the moon a mere cresent, but a full sphere of luminance. Alina felt her body ebb back with the Sun's endowment. She shattered her chains and looked up at the moon. And there, on its face anew, was Avery's face.
