Its easy enough really:
Flip the image upside down.
Do a polar coordinates distort.
Then I duplicated the layer and rotated it a little.
Then mask over the join in the polar coords layer so it looks seamless.
Then I ran a lens distort and played with the settings until I got that tunnel effect.
