In IB Art i based my portfolio around the topic of fear. something that i've always wanted to do was a group project thing. so i got a bunch of 3 x 5 cards and asked my peers and teachers to write down their biggest fears. this resulted in a really really big piece of paper with a bunch of common fears.

i really really liked this project. i always feel, especially in my town, the teenagers and youth are REALLY looked down upon and just like, pushed aside as shallow and ignorant of the world. but the second most common fear i found was failure and failure-related topics. and it's like. what kind of upbringing are we getting to make us IMMEDIATELY think of failure as our #1 worst fear? More than harm to our loved ones or war or, i don't know. How did this happen.

Anyway, I'll probably make a second one with all the ones that stood out to me. these are just a few
