For today's entry into the Power Rangers art, I continue my tribute to Tommy Oliver/Jason David Frank. Not all my pieces will be of Tommy, but they will have some tribute to his Ranger powers in any way. Here is Trent Mercer, White Drago Ranger, with the Dragon Shield, based on a Reddit post of him wearing it. One of the main reasons I did this was because I've got over two weeks worth of leftover art, and each time I do brand-new pieces, I sometimes add them, so until I burn out at least one week's worth of them, I will be doing pieces using preexisting pieces I have. Plus, I do love it when other characters use the Dragon Shield. I even modified it a bit so that it has the logo of the Dino Thunder team on the center. For the weapon, I was gonna do the White Drago Sword, but found a pic of the beheaded Saba used by Lord Drakkon, and modified the piece so that it has the head of the Drago Sword, creating a hybrid of Saba and the White Drago Sword, which I call the White Drago Legacy Saber. It would still be used like a pen like Trent's weapon, but would have a stronger attack for when he goes in for close attacks. Plus, I did the White Drago Sword the wrong size when I did the redone piece, so this is sort of me making up for that. It took me a while to put everything together, but I think that I managed to get everything done correctly in the end. What do you think? Please enjoy!
