Really nice. It is absolutely clean, tidy. The forms are sharp, and the black background make stand out them, it's a good idea. The composition is particulary fine too, focused on the middle of the circle formed by the opening of the glass. There aren't many colors, and it doesn't need to have more, but only two strong, effective and aesthetic. Great job ! Should add it : .
Personally, I wouldn't have put these shot in the Abstract and surreal section, but it's your choice. Why not.
The water boy is successful too, very original and surprising. "Crystalise" is a good extension of these one.

Gorgeous the way the water is made up of all these tiny little drops of water. It's truly like looking at a stream of beads or chrystals. Lovely composition the way the lip of the clear glass echoes the curve of the rising water.

It's amazing that you really grasp what's happening when you pour water - only when you see a still picture of it. Great shot! Sort of looks like glass or plastics, has a fake feel to it even though it's all real.

My my how we grow with our technology. Some the same, some very different. Let us take the sheer randomness out of the shot. Those Epson water shots can not be retaken, even with the Epson! But going back to the sink to try out your new tool is awesome because you are very familiar with your fluid dynamics ... and now you will end up with much higher resolution images with more dynamic range.
There is nothing wrong with your previous shots when we take into consideration the tools you had to work with ... but I certainly prefer this over the others. You can do so much more with it. Heck, if you wanted to you COULD make it look like the others. But try putting this much detail and range into the Epson shots!
Nifty capture bud!

It almost looks like you have taken a glass and put a roll of bubble wrap and put it in the glass and then added water. I dunno, but thats what it looks like to me. I love it though. I would of soaked the kitchen and myself if I tried that.

flashback! and yeah it's been said before, but .... it's like liquid bubble wrap! hmm. seems, and i'm just going off memory here, that this one is a little brighter and crisper than the previous ones.

Ah so clear and crisp, really adds to the fresh feel of the liquid. Great shot, I see you used the Canon 5d. How do you like it?
