Cyanide Seed, or Cy, is the son of Barbara "Babs" Seed and Peppermint Twist. Though holding a pretty scary name, Cy is a bold and smart colt with a knack for chemistry. He’s already earned his cutie mark, and loves to make things blow up. His best friend is Apple Turnover, and despite living apart, they meet up frequently and send each other letters every week.

Apple Turnover, or Turny is the daughter of Apple Bloom and Tender Taps. She is a victim of bullying due to her weight, but her parents assured her that she’s healthy and beautiful just the way she is. She lacks confidence in herself, but is a skilled dancer and practices often. She often practices with her father at his dance studio, and hopes her special talent will be dancing, or maybe roller skating, her other hobby. She is best friends with her cousin, Cyanide Seed
