I do not fancy Cortana all that much. But I really liked that one picture that I drew of it. This took me quite some time to finish but it's done! Oh yeah, Cortana is from Halo.Here's the person's brushes I used:

This is a pretty alright copy of the original cover. Some of the shading on her chin makes it look a tad malformed, though

hey super! i was wondering if you wouldnt mind me taking this pic and putting a santa clause hat on her head for the holidays? i always give credit to pics if i take them from someone, so no worries there.
btw...yeah this looked SOOO like the original, but looking at them both i can tell its not. really GREAT job...i wish i could draw >_<...i just take pics and edit them with silly things.
and as for the guy talking about being respectful...its one thing to say that and be in the right. but to say it over and over and in a condescending manner doesn't help and actually shows just how bad your own respectful manner is. say it once. and be done with it but to push the matter...is childish

It is, in fact, Scott Fischer. The image by Lorraine Mclees is several pages earlier and distinctly more cartoony/anime-ish, featuring Master Chief and array of weaponry. I happen to have said graphic novel sitting in front of me.
Copying artwork is a good and legitimate way to practice and learn new techniques. The link should have been there, but come on. This is an insanely good copy. When I first saw this I thought it was a scan (which is why I think the link is a good idea), but comparing the two images it becomes obvious that this isn't just some rip.
This obviously took a lot of time and effort. You did a really good job.
