A wallpaper I made using an image of Green Lantern I cut out from promo art for the new Infinite Crisis Game. The background image is a large GL Logo enlarged to take up the entire screen with a sunburst effect for lighting.*** I take no credit for the artwork shown here! Gorgeous design and I love this image of GL very well mixed with lantern logo behind him. The colors blend perfectly well and it's well placed for centering.

You should really build these at a much higher resolution and widescreen. This size of wallpaper is only used by 9% of computer users [link] , 90% of users use a resolution over 1024x768.

I would, except I am in that 9% of users & it looks like @#!% on my screen when I do them in widescreen. At some point, I will come into the light & update my monitor. Then I will be screwed with a ton of standard sized wallpapers. But for now...It's what looks best for me. I am never above taking requests via a note for a widescreen wallpaper however. As far as making them bigger...I make them as big as the cut out I am using. Can't make them to big if the render is small. Enlarging them distorts the image. Thanks for the comment & please let me know if you would like any of my walls in a widescreen format & what size you need. I can pretty much do any size....as long as the render is big enough.
