it is wierd that in me1 you have cruiser that looks different from that in me3, is it upgraded version, is it completly new one, nevertheless to get back on topic, i think that alliance cruisers in pack of 3-4 can overpower reaper destroyer with ease especially if they have strong fighter-frigate escort for screening, alliance dreadnoughts would no doubt be able to kill destoryer without to much problem, although you have note that SSV Logan (Kilimanjaro class dreadnought) slows reaper destroyer,

but 2-3 dreadnoughts could destroy Sovereign class reaper

Answering your first question yes, in Mass effect 1 the Alliance Systems use the Everest Dreadnoughts (888 meters in length) and Berlin Cruisers (650 meters in length) compared to the newly Kilimanjaro Dreadnoughts (1000 meters in length) and York Cruisers (707 meters in length). The biggest differences between the ships is their Ezo drives and Kinetic energy when firing rounds.

I dont know if Reapers can feel pain, but that cruiser certainly made that Reaper do.

This scene... hugely aggrivated me almost as much as the Palaven scene and its not 4 times larger, only Harbringer is but then again seeing how Bioware can never follow continuity we might as well make up whatever we want

Actually, it is. An Alliance dreadnought is 888 meters long, I have a photo of an Alliance dreadnought and cruiser together, compared to that, the cruiser is roughly 500-550 meters long. A Sovereign-class Reaper is approximately 2 kilometers long.

Umm and? Is that suppose to mean something?
Seeing as how we want to throw some math and stats in here i got some for you:
In ME 1 u destroy a Reaper losing only 20 ships, 40 at max if u want to include no help from Shepard. In ME 2 you destroy a Reaper with only a small squad. In ME 3 u first destroy a Reaper with an entire Armada then u destroy one with a single mini nuke (which btw is tremendously weaker than a Dreadnought's guns when each shot of a dreadnought is stronger than an Atom Bomb used on Hiroshima as quoted in ME 2) and then u destroy one using Javeline missiles
so yes i stand by what i said and how there is no standard with Reapers. One minute they are very tough to beat then they are almost impossible then they are very weak then they are invincible. We might as well say all it takes is the power of friendship to destroy a Reaper since Bioware keeps changing the standards

Battle of the Citadel: Turians lost 20 cruisers, the Alliance 8 (if you decide to save the Destiny Ascension). Sovereign was a very powerful Reaper, one of Harbinger's lieutenants. The human-Reaper in ME2 wasn't even finished, that's why it was so easy to defeat. And the three reapers you kill in ME3 are destroyers, not Sovereign-class. A destroyer is only 160 meters long. The first one is actually killed by the largest Threser Maw ever to exist, the second one, by heavy orbital bombardment from at least a dozen Quarian cruisers. Even then, they're hard to kill, and a destroyer is nowhere near as tough as a Sovereign-class. Do your research, or just pay attention when you play the games.

I think it was stated somewhere that Sovereign was especially powerful, even by reaper capital ship standards. 1 capital ship is equal to about 3-4 Alliance dreads.

now that was a pretty impressive feat that cruiser/dreadnought was able to achieve by itself and of courese it made sense for the reaper to do go down fighting to the end....hell of an epic space battle
