Cause even though he's portrayed as being evil in most of the games, he's shown a bit of a softer side in the Paper Mario games, and Peach even somewhat noticed it in Super Paper Mario, from what I remember.

The Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario. The second and third Paper Mario games.
And Nintendo had some definite classics back in the day, such as for the Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo. Try some of the classics before deciding you don't like them.

ah, ive never played paper mario. only the 64 and the one that bowser and peach "marry". im not a big fan of mario, i was when i was a kid.
i dont like then. the only game that i like, i mean i LOVE from nintendo is Zelda. really, i dont care about others. im brazilian, you cant just go ask for someone for a nintendo game, they will allways give you a mario game. if you want a game from nintendo that isnt mario you have to buy it from another contry. no thanks, i just spend my money with zelda.

If it's ok for me to say this, fandom pairings are kinda like food. At first, you think that some (or all) of the ingredients don't go well together, but then you taste it, and you can't get enough of it. Others may not like it, but you'll find others with similar tastes that also happen to like it.
