The moon shined from behind the hat-shaped tower in the distance as I walked through the fog. Everything seemed so colorless and eerie that I felt ghostly presence around me. I figured it was probably just my imagination and kept walking.

I eventually came across a crooked old lamppost that looked like it was wearing a hat. It suddenly started to flicker like crazy, as if it was trying to tell me something. I definitely don't speak lamp, but if there's one thing I've learned from the horror movies, it's that flickering lights mean that ghosts are nearby. Realizing this made me wish I had brought my Poltergust with me, and I scampered away before anything strange happened.

As I continued to run, I was soon startled by a strange high-pitched sound. It sounded a lot like a ghost, and I was sure that I was being followed. I looked around but couldn't find the source of the noise, so I figured it must've just been wind. I breathed a sigh of relief and continued on my way, but I still wondered if the sound I heard even was the wind.

Could've the noise have been on my head the whole time!?
