the cadians overall'll be fine anyway considering their main export for over 10000 years was soldiers, and guardsmen regiments like to colonize planets after dealing with whatever problem they were formed to deal with

so i bet there's already hundreds of thousands of giant colonies of violet eyed fellas :V

I'm suspecting the fall of Cadia will mark the equivalent of the Vermintide in Warhammer Fantasy for 40k, the apocalypse which will slowly destroy the Imperium.

After all, the Cicatrix Maledictum has torn the Imperium in half, and basically brought about the damnation of half the galaxy DX
