Sure
To do her hair I bought dark purple fleece and cut out two sides of it into a long thinner piece. Then I sewed them together and turned it right side out. To make the tail curl I sew the fatter end to the hole in the flank and slowly curled it with my hands, sewing it to keep it in place.
The hair was about the same. but instead of cutting a long piece you cut out one that curves around a little as to mimic her hairs natural turn. Then you sew it, turn it right side out, and attach it to her scalp. Remember that a pony's hair grows sort of in a line so be careful how you put in onto its head. Then at the end of it you curl it the way you like and sew it in a curve so to keep in in place.
A good way to practice is use paper to draw out the shape of the hair and cut it out and hold it where it should go. That Helped me get a good idea of how i wanted it to look. If you do that when you trace it on the fabric make sure you draw it bigger because of the seam line.
