dude i cant wait! i absolutely luv those two moives, and their soundtracks. those along with beauty and the beast and hercules are my fav disney movies, i have watched them soo many times i have them memorized XD
have u seen the trailer from the new little mermaid? i am a little worried about it, cuz u know how sequels have been doing lately.... and the animation is just different. >.< guess u cant mess with the classics :]

I know!! Alan Menken did the soundtrack on all those movies you just mentioned. xD He is incredible. Unfortunately, he's not doing the music in the new one. D: Something about the management at Disney not wanting to be 'repetitive'. I think that's stupid. XD But hey, I guess he can't be the only man on Earth who can write good music.
And no, I don't think I've seen the trailer. I might see the movie, but I don't think I'll be a big fan of it. xD Sequals--with some exceptions--usually don't do very well for animated movies for some reason. I guess since 90% of the time, they're lower budget and worked on by totally different people. xD But who knows! I'm actually curious to see the whole Ariel's beginning thing.

well yea you can look up the trailer on you tube. i am very curious to see it too though.
i think the only really good disney cartoon sequels would have to be the lion king (all three) and the second mulan is pretty good too. there is probably another one, i just cant remember :]
