Entry for 's contest. I chose "Family Pokemon" for the theme and decided on a Vulture after watching a huge flock of them that live near my house, and on top of a bank (ironic, no?).

Name: BLAZETURE
Type: Flying/ Fire
THE FLOCK POKEMON
Ability: Flash Fire/ Keen Eye
Male/Female Ratio: 50%-50%
Habitat: Mountain/ Rough Terrain
PokeDex Entry: It is protective of its flock, which can be made up of any species of Pokemon. It's head becomes wreathed in fire when enraged.

Description: Despite its intimidating appearance, BLAZETURE is highly social and intelligent. It's three long feathers can act as hands, allowing it to utilize simple tools to build its nest, which is eventually burned to ashes by the white-hot feathers of the baby chicks. This "nest-ash" clings to it for the rest of its life, and it trails it as it flies. It constantly surrounds itself with a large, multi-species flock for company. It's flock is more of an extended family, and it is equally protective of all its members. Captive BLAZETURE can become depressed if isolated, and require extensive interaction from either its trainer, or its team members.
