Today is Luigi Day and I’ve got nostalgia for everyone. This isn’t the Dr. Mario World Luigi. This is actually the first Dr. Luigi we’ve been introduced from the Dr. Luigi game for the Wii U. You won’t be able to get that game from the Wii U eShop since it closed down. For those who managed to buy that game, you’ve made it in time. Now I wish the Wii U/3DS eShops stayed open.😭
Dr. Luigi first came out in 2014 known as The Year of Luigi. It works like any ordinary Dr. Mario game, so how to play the game remains the same. There’s even a new mode called “Operation L”. There are two capsules that form an L, and you still have to match the colours to get rid of the viruses. That’s as far as I know. The weird (yellow), chills (blue) and fever (red) viruses aren’t in the game. Instead there’s the dizzy (cyan) virus, confused (magenta) virus, and drowsy (another yellow virus). Yep, there are two yellow viruses now.
If there’s any Luigi games I got from Year of Luigi, it’s Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (it was lost unfortunately so I no longer have the game), New Super Luigi U, and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (the 3DS version, not the Switch).
I also played Luigi Bros. in Super Mario 3D World too, but I think it’s gone now. That sucks.
