It's because I think it would be a metal version of one of the turtles but it has a specific turtle who has a connection with Sonic and the emerald. I'm guessing it's Mikey because he's my favorite turtle.

Leo is the leader though! Makes more sense lore wise and if you think about it! THE FLIPIN SHREDDER IS INVOLVED WITH THIS! The Shredder is a Smart yet dangerous villain the turtles have encountered and would make more sense to make a robotic copy of the leader instead of the others. (...or I may be wrong, I don't know, but it's a really logical guess)
