This is motif #23. Unfortunately in this apocalyptic world of the undead rising and eating everyone, not even the children are safe from this hell. Take this poor little girl here for example, this is her story. On the day of the outbreak some parts were ahead of the crowd and had already prepared for evacuation of the rich part of the city first. This girl and her mother were higher ups around the city and were able to get to the evacuation center first before others. They were first ones to get on the plane that would take them out of the city. When the other passengers had boarded everyone claimed that they were not infected, but they had tested everyone... Except the pilot. When the pilot had gotten on board he was already looking ill as is. Before he could even get to the captain's quarters on the plane he collapsed and landed on the stewardess. She brought him up to his feet and asked if he was alright. He was silent, then he turned towards her, his eyes were hazy and bloodshot. He quickly grabbed her and bite her in the shoulder, he sunk his teeth deep into the poor stewardess who was helpless against the monster's overpowering strength. She stopped screaming and her eyes rolled to the back of her head and passed out as he continued to feed on her. All the passengers began to shove each other out of the way as they were trying to get out of the plane with their lives. The mother had gotten out of the plane but her daughter didn't, fearing the worst she dashed back in to find her little girl covering her neck with her hand. When asked what happened the little girl responded saying that some crazy woman picked her up and bit her on the neck, but she didn't look sick. The two left the plane only to find the whole area swarming with the undead from the other parts of the city. Fearing the worst the little girl freed herself from her mother's grasp and ran away from the inevitable terror. Before her mother could run after her she was grabbed behind by an old man who was missing an eyeball, he sunk his teeth into the back of her head... No one else knows what happened to her after that...
As for the little girl... She kept running until she couldn't run anymore, she felt her neck only to reveal what was really happening. There was a rough texture, almost as if a large scab was forming. She said to herself that the woman who attacked her must have been sick after all. She went into an abandoned alley, she told herself she will be with her mother soon as she collapsed on a pile of trash bags and fell into a very deep sleep... This is an artist rendering of what happened to her when they found her. She was growling when they found her, they had no choice.....
