Description
In the Smurf Episode “The Tallest Smurf”, Slouchy is mocked by all the other Smurflings because, when they came to “Measuring Tree” with Grandpa, they saw that Slouchy was the shortest of all.

It made him feel quite sad, bad-tempered and even angry. It causes him to make a wish : he wants to be the tallest Smurf. Farmer Smurf's Genie hears about it and make his wish come true..but not as expected ! Instead of making him any taller, all the Smurfs are turned into tiny little creatures. Fortunately, Slouchy finds them and save them when they're about to be eaten alive by a bird. He is, well a little “scold” by Papa Smurf but the story will have a good end as always : Thanks to Farmer's help, Slouchy finds out the Genie and convince him to undo the spell and make everyone back to normal.

But my version is, I think, they way I would react if I were Slouchy...

Slouchy, even after receiving apologies from the Smurflings, feels really shameful and lonely. He's been laughed at, scolded (fortunately not spanked) and is involuntarily responsible for the Smurfs's “regression”, which could have been really worse...
Papa Smurf's not going to punish him but he lectures him about the danger of making stupid wishes. Slouchy is now fed up with all the shame and pain he's been suffering so far : he bursts into tears and run away in the forest. But he doesn't notice that Greedy and some other Smurfs including Papa, who's already regretting what he said, are following him. He sits down near the Measuring Tree and cries out loud, his head in his arms.

Greedy tries to talk with him but Slouchy rejects all the sweet and comforting words. Greedy then use a quite more useful method : he put his hands under Slouchy's arms, pick him up and hold him in his arms. Slouchy is still crying, hiding his eyes by snuggling up in Greedy's arms, trying not to be seen by all the other Smurfs and the animals attracted by his sorrow. Feelings of compassion, pity and comfort emanate from everyone, and Slouchy is consoled by everyone. The heart-warming scene lasts forever ; Slouchy finally stops crying ; caresses, hugs, love, kisses and sweet words have beaten Slouchy's pain !

Everyone apologies for being too harsh and severe to him, and Greedy brings him back to the village. He give the tired little Smurfling a delicious cake, successfully bringing back a bright smile He keeps hugging him for a very long time, before rocking him to sleep, thanks to lovely lullaby that almost made Greedy himself sleep.
