With his permission, I will write again on this series.

AMELIA VS LION 1

While traveling in a remote and wild region, legendary animal hunter Amelia Johnson was always looking for new challenges and new battles. She was like that, hunting enhanced wild beast was as exciting as fighting with them. Nobody would have even thought of doing this even if he had been armed to the teeth. But everyone who knew her swore that she faced the wild beasts with her bare hands, doing unimaginable wonders.
Word had come to her that some tribes of local natives had been attacked by some creatures that they said were demons. Demons with fangs and claws. The tribes of that remote place were primitive and superstitious, and Amelia, who did not believe in supernatural apparitions, suspected that the "demons" were beasts enhanced, even if the meager descriptions of which she had come into possession, hinted that they were of a different kind from those that she had faced, much more powerful and fearsome.

For several hours she had been traveling through that wild and inhospitable territory while the intense light shone the bright orange outfit that she wore. She was patient, she knew that the wait would be rewarded. Then she heard it. An unmistakable sound. She understood before she even saw who it belonged to. It was a roar. A powerful beast roar that warned an intruder to leave its territory immediately. Anyone would have trembled feeling the growing panic take over his mind, but Amelia instead felt only that adrenaline was starting to flow in her veins. The excitement grew when the creature showed up. It appeared in the distance in all its impressive proportions. It waited for a long moment, then moved. The plush paws that trampled the sandy ground, the agile movements despite the enormous weight they carried, the majestic mane waving in the light wind, the quivering nostrils and above those yellow cat eyes that stared forward, shining threatening.
The big cat charged. Amelia remained absolutely calm. No doubt, the creature was pointing straight at her. It advanced faster than she expected, but this increased her excitement a little more. With her legs spread apart, her feet enclosed in her boots anchored to the ground, her fists resting on her hips defiantly, her blond hair shaken by the wind, Amelia Johnson waited. Her face as beautiful as that of a goddess had a calm and detached expression, but her perfect lips folded imperceptibly, her blue eyes shone betraying her real sensations. There was everything in that gaze. The confidence she flaunted, the excitement for the challenge that filled her, the pride that always supported her along with her unimaginable power! In the middle of nowhere, in front of the largest enhanced lion she had ever seen, while she waited for the battle to begin, the huntress was smiling.
