Oh man, this was a monster to tackle.
So I asked my watchers to come to me with what they thought were my worst drawings in the gallery. I wanted to see how much I improved in more than a year now by redrawing them. This particular drawing was based on this drawing here.

The person who suggested it said that this one wasn't necessarily my "worst" but just one he would've liked to seen redrawn. There were worser ones but I actually REALLY wanted to redraw this one first.

The basic idea behind the original drawing was to showcase a cheeky Luffy against a background of some of his earliest opponents. I upped the scale by including the original five crew members Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Usopp. As well as some of the prominent crewmen of the likes of Buggy, Kuro, Don Kreig, and Arlong. I kind of regret not squeezing in Morgan and Helmeppo in there, but I was low on page space.

Speaking of space, I should also mention that I couldn't fit the entire drawing in my scanner. So a lot got cut off near the bottom. I posted the whole picture with a much lower resolution on my iPhone. Right here.

Otherwise, drawing this again was fun. I'm happy to see that I'm apparently not stagnating in skill. Could use a lot more improvement but still, better than the last version. Anything else that could've been improved upon, I'd be glad to hear it.
