Wanted to try something a little different.Barn owl.
Watercolor and black ink with a little white acrylic for the splattering.
Hurray for uploading at one in the morning.

I've been dabbling in watercolors lately, so I've been especially drawn to them. This owl is very captivating both in terms of color and value. Great sense of unity with so many colors. I love how the details on the owl's face grab ya and pull you in, then push you back out to explore the rest of the painting! ^_^

So the song "vertigo" was on my computer ( not by choice it just came on) than I stumbled upon this beautiful watercolor painting of the same name ! destiny I suppose !

Truly stunning work! I adore how boldly you used color here: this painting is lively and exciting, a visual feast - particularly thanks to the contrasting colors in the background and on the owl itself. The black ink almost looks like cutout paper, lending a dimensional quality to the piece. I must say that your username was chosen well, because this absolutely is fresh artwork.

It just seemed really trippy to me after I had done it with all the colors. I was kind of inspired by space and the abstractness-randomness just seemed to fit.
