Verso il tramonto , sul fosso in Bozzano , appostato dietro le cannelle del ciglio , osservavo una poiana che volteggiava sopra i campi . A un certo momento sembra dirigersi verso di me in posizione frontale . Prendevo la mira e aspettavo il momento giusto per lo scatto , quando , improvvisamente , impostava una brusca virata , invertendo la direzione , ma offrendo le ali aperte ai raggi del sole .

Towards sunset, the ditch in Bozzano, lurking behind the taps of an eye, I watched a buzzard circling over the fields. At one moment it seems to me go in front position. I took aim and waited for the right moment to shoot, when, suddenly, outlined a sharp turn, reversing the direction, but by offering its wings outstretched in the sun.
