ahhh... with me no longer working at the old comic company anymore means that i won't b able 2 do anything digital 4 a while... so it's back 2 good ol' pen & paper...it's kinda difficult also 4 me right now 2 post in new stuff since i couldn't edit the images since most cybercafes don't have photoshop... luckily taught me 2 use GIMP... came in real handy... now i can do some lil' bit of digital editing although i don't have my own computer... yet...
*sigh...* need 2 find more money 2 buy my own compy... i'm getting there... sooner or later...
anyway... a lil' something i did a while back... i am still in the process of inking this... & i am taking my sweeeeeeetttt time with it...
some people have been advising me 2 cut down on the hair & details since it makes my drawing process slow... well... i did managed 2 do so... *a bit* in my comics... but when it comes 2 illustrations... i can put as much as i want... bhahahahaha...
it is painful... yes... but i enjoy doing it... the feeling of satisfaction after finishing such drawings is beyond words...

That's so beautiful <3 I love it! I just adore all the detail and linework in there. I love how you do the hair and eyes >.< I'm really struggling with how the get the angles right when drawing eyes, and with making the hair in that wonderful lined style *cries* do you have any tips for an aspiring artist? *puppy dog eyes*

thanx... all i can say is although my skills r not all that good but i put all my heart in2 my drawings... & i love doing the little details even when people say that it takes up 2 much time & energy but what the heck i ain't drawing it 4 anyone else other than myself...
drawing eyes at different angles... well... the best way 2 learn how 2 do this is 2 get back 2 the basics... brush up on the basic guidelines on the face... i think a lot of artbooks teach this...
& the hair... it's kinda hard 4 me 2 give any tips in words... b'coz most of my techniques r self-taught...

Traditional style, I have miss them so much. I wish I can pick up pen and paper again if it isn't for the damn pain in my arm.
I really do miss those Goth passion and the girl X girl artwork. You artwork, is my last resort of comfort.
Can't wait to see the 100% completion of this artwork.

okay... now i will tell u what type of pen i use 2 draw... my fave pen is pilot drawing pen & i only use point size 0.1 2 draw most of my drawings... & some markers 4 the larger black parts...

0.1 really? I tend to use the 0.005 for most of my art. and a brush for the thicker lines. Lately I've been using nib sets. a trick to get a hang of, but I think after the seventh mess up I think I got it. XD
Next time I get curious about hair & pens..... I'll just demand it, and not ask.

0.05 is a bit 2 small 4 me & hard 2 find... so i mostly stick to 0.1... & also use it 2 make thin or thick lines... so basically i don't really need a lot of sizes 2 draw different lines... i tried nibs also... but i find 'em a bit fussy so i jus stick 2 drawing pens... XP

This looks fantastic so far! And I don't think you should cut down on your details. If it makes you happy and you like how your art comes out in the end you shouldn't stop. Though there's nothing wrong with stopping to do something simple every so often. ^^

well... this drawing is not drawn 4 anyone else but myself... so it's only fair that i take my own sweet time & enjoy the process of finishing it...
i do draw "simpler" things... well... at least not as elaborate as this but people always say that they r still too detailed...
