This is one of my more recent projects: The complete removal and replacement of established text.

this is the original image: The cover of the long-lost pulp-era Sci-fi Magazine PLANET STORIES, with the distinctive cover story Black Amazon of Mars. While the story itself is dreadful, the curvaceous antagonist makes for a good cover.

As you can see there's a great deal of text, watermarks, and pen-scribbles that need to be removed.
