Description
Unbelievable pollen from these wild flowers: which I now call The Pollen Factory. The flowers - decaying - photo has been taken last July 30th. Then has appeared this pollen. It was very windy during the Summer with huge gusts coming from the north-east, pollen flying all over the place. But the days after, there was as much pollen. And it went on and on... I took this photo on October 4th and there was as much pollen as before. It is a real mystery for me.
Does anybody know the name of these wild flowers? I looked in many books and didn't found it. There are plenty of these flowers in open spaces.
Thanks to , the flower is called an epilobium angustifolium. It is also called Fireweed.

These flowers are very common in Canada but it is strange it was not mentioned in my three books on wild weeds and flowers.

It is an epilobium, you are right! An epilobium angustifolium, more exactly, also called a Fireweed.
