Character portrait. ... .... Heh, Yeah, I've never been too good at "brief" art descriptions. Especially with portraits. Its just seems that there aren't enough bases covered when it comes to giving a thourough example of the character themself. In my case, I pour much more focus into the development of a char's persona and motives that it manipulates the way they should look "physically".I usually have a hard time posting pinups of this particular character, due to the fact that he's ...well, attractive, and that usually gives the impression of an obligatory art subject that is base and strictly categorized as "eyecandy" for an imaginative libido. And His death is amazing, As I hope one day you'll see in my stories. (insert wink an' grin)
As far as the technological what-not goes, this is Comprised of Adobe 5.5 and a pencil sketch. 100% freehand, and god's wrath in the form of caffine and AAA batteries. :3 Hope y'likeit!

I think it is always a good thing to insert somekind of personality in your chatachters when you are drawing them. In fact I would say that any really good portrait has almost always a story of some kind behind them, even if only the artist him/herself knows about it. It aways gives depht to the picture, and that is certainly something you managed to achieve. Specially the hair looks really nice, almost photorealistic. Also that dreamy look in heΒ΄s face looks really good. Great job.

Beautiful..his gaze looks so sad and pensive. His lips are simply beautiful and i adore the little teeth you can see, it adds to his realism. The eyes look surreal and the only way you can tell he's not copied from a picture is that no one can humanly be this gorgeous..
The shirt looks immensely real, i can imagine the texture it has, though the vest lacks some definition. I didn't notice at first, though: too busy staring at the face. The background is very nice as well...
