josh, let me tell you a story 


apparently Ribbon is a mermaid (or in this case Merhog) who got turned into a mobian by a chaos emerald in the rp (plus her bio tells she was a merhog before and when she became mobian, Greg had to help her up to the surface) and when that happened, she couldnt swim or breathe so Greg and Sari had to help her get to the surface
