Since her parents were greedy people they handed her over to scientists for experimenting in return for some money. They were trying to create a perfect fighters for military usage. They tested her ability for a few months. Unfortunately she didn't come out as they planned, and marked her as a failure. She escaped later, only to end up joining Natata's squad.
