This is probably the best piece of work I've ever done. And man does my hand hurt... lol.I wanted to try out something different, with this. I wanted to make it look more fuzzy, and I think I did a pretty good job of it too.
I made new brushes to make the hairs. And I made the jeans and other fabric items look more realistic by scanning those items and then turning them into a brush too.I really like how the jeans came out, a lot.
I don't really know why Tails is in a snow storm, but the picture looks really good,
Edit: I completely spaced out last night, and forgot to draw his two tails *smacks self* I don't think I should do everything when I'm really tired, lol. Woke up this morning and realized I forgot it, had to fix it...

Drawing in this style was kind of time consuming, more than hard. I just won't do it all the time because it's time consuming. It was a bit annoying though

It might just be the pose, personally it looks likes like the hand might be a tad to low, the hand makes it look as if he was shielding his mouth, and not his face/eyes.
the pant leg on the left (my left) has an edge that sticks out against the blizzard, which makes me think the wind isn't very strong as it looks, pulling it inward a bit and giving it a gentle slope might help
it also takes a few seconds to relies that his jacket is open and that thats his chest fur sticking out instead of just neck fur, which brings me back to he posing.
lastly, the ears are a bit tricky looking, they don't quite give that wind swept look.
I like the shading you used in this, it shoes you know your range of effect, for a first try on texture and shading you really hit the nail on the head pretty good here.
