Not everyone speaks for me. Other trans people as similar as we are, can't speak for my trans experience. Some of us are forged, melded in a fire of anger and cooled in the water of fear. Some are grown, blooming flowers of love and care and growing up with a family that accepts them from birth. Some of us are bruised, broken, steppe on and shattered and still managing to pick up our heads after all that and continuing to live. Some of us were lifted up by our parents, told we were loved and accepted by them and given some of the things we needed and promised more until we asked and were pushed down like a stack of playing cards over and over and over again. It's one thing to be forsaken by your parents, its another to be accepted, what might hurt most of all is the empty promises, the lies, and constant bringing back up of hope only to be cast out, time and time again. It's being told you're loved while half their actions attack your existence and the other half are the basic needs any parent should do. It's being told you're loved.
