Description I know he looks a bit like a less-mangled form of Polleo, but this guy is actually not from "Guilt", he's from a story that I had started before it, and hardly got anywhere through. His name is Gaia, and he's probably the most depressing character that I have ever created. xP

Gaia exists as one of several Gods that control several separate realms. As a God of the realm Mundo, Gaia is completely linked to that world-- in his physical life, and in emotion.
The only issue there, though, is that Gaia has grown weary of ever-existing life, and wishes to end his immortal one so that he can join all of the the mortal souls in their eternal, reincarnated cycle. His immortal life is virtually impossible to end, however. Even if he did succeed in such a hard task, he would be taking the entire realm of Mundo down with him.
At first, Gaia foolishly makes it apparent to the other realm Gods, and the people of Mundo that he wishes to end his life. Of course, the creatures of Mundo are quick to anger towards him, and even try to keep him locked away for a time. In imprisonment, however, Gaia refuses to allow rain to his realm, and forces droughts onto his people. The people of Mundo quickly realize that imprisoning him is not the way to go, and they release Gaia begrudgingly.
After he is freed, Gaia hides himself from his people, slipping into silence. It is only many years later, when his appearance has faded away to myth, that he returns into public.
He still seeks to somehow end him immortality, but also tries to blend in as a regular mortal, living under the name of Liam.
It's hard for him to live a very normal life when he's unafraid of death, though. He hardly even makes attempts to avoid the sharpest of swords, as his body is quick to sense danger, and will not allow him to be cut more than shallowly.

The only way that someone could possibly mark him as the real Gaia now would be to find the mark of the Gods somewhere on his body. His mark, however, was once imprinted on his right pupil, which he disfigured shortly after going into hiding.

Yeah, story's a bit emo, but I still sort of like the idea of it, in a twisted way.
I've always thought that, out of all of the flop stories I started before "Guilt", that this would be the one I returned to if I ever want to start seriously typing something else. I still think that, really.

I'd have to change a bit of the story now, though.
I did a bit of stealing of characters, seeing as Sapiens, Rasputin, and Nanook all came from this story, but are now in "Guilt". x')

Amazing job on the wings and the folds in the fabric. The background is great as well.

Thats actually a pretty interesting story, and after reading what you wrote, I think that you really captured the mod in the picture perfectly.
