Description
A Lorn manticore.
Manticores are felines roughly the size of a small lion; they are covered in venomous quills that can cause vivid hallucinations. People struck by these quills have told stories of hulking beasts with human faces, scorpion tails, and even wings. Not much is known about these creatures, and information about them is steeped in superstition.
The venom of a manticore is not deadly unless absorbed in large quantities. Manticore venom is sometimes used recreationally or as an ingredient in medicine.
