*drops dead*Haven't seen the movie... yet... cuuuuurses... so please NO SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was listening to the hellboy 2 soundtrack. To get inspired... It worked!!!! I produced TWO romantically charged drawings, which I just HAD to color, so I scanned them as soon as my brother was gone (so I could go in his room, spy-like, leaving no clues).
I-AM-SO-ADDICTED to this fish man... I wish I was Nuala! I want to tear her beautiful ivory face off.
So technically speaking, this is a mechanical pencil drawing, scanned, colored in photoshop. I wanted to make it look as if it was a renaissance painting on wooden board, with a golden frame, cuz they're both so.... ya know, divine... Used a texture, can't remember where it came from. If you're the owner, please don't sue me. Just drop me a line and I'll credit.
Edit: Ok NOW it's safe to talk about the movie cuz I seen it already^^ MY GOD I NEED THE DVD NOW!!!!! SOOOOOO GREAT AND ABSURD

I know it's been ages since the movie came out and since you drew any art for these two, and I'm a bit late on the praise, but I just want to say that this is absolutely, stunningly amazing. I have been and always will be a fan of this couple, and I can only attempt to keep their story alive by writing fanfics, since I can't even draw a straight line, and don't even get me started on my inability to draw a half-decent circle.
The amount of appreciation for these two has unfortunately and quickly declined, has basically become obsolete, and the fact has saddened me on many occasions. I have long admired the art you've drawn, and only now just made an account for the sole purpose of commenting on this. xD Lazy, I know, but I've always thought that since I wasn't an artist, why make an account?
Anyway, this is absolutely beautiful, and is so brilliantly realistic. The care is evident here, and the amount of time and effort you must have devoted to each piece is greatly appreciated. I wish you'd draw more, but I'm satisfied with the pieces I've seen and will always see as one of the best Abe/Nuala artists out there. I just love it when something, especially something so realistic, appears. It, in a way, keeps their tragic and heartbreaking story alive, and as an immense fan, I can't tell you how much that is valued.
Thanks for taking the time to read this long comment, and for spending however long on this piece and others! They're all so masterful, and I can just imagine this as another part of their story. So, thank you for giving me the opportunity to see this, and to feel nostalgia for both the movie and the characters, and I'll go on hoping that a third movie will be made and Nuala will come back to life (but she won't, sadly, even though Liz came back to life with a few threatening words). ;D

There is so much I would change on this piece now, but I'm still fond of it, even though several fandoms have come and gone since then. Actually, they never go... They remain there, silently waiting for resurgence. I like your icon, by the way. Teehee, Loki.

Well I've looked at how to post a fic, but the screen that everyone refers to after clicking on 'submit art' looks different than the one I see, and I just thought I'd try trial and error first, you know, and I chose the 'upload a file' option first, and that brought me to choosing categories and whatnot, but when I got there, it said whichever category that I was choosing wasn't available for the file. So then I tried copy and pasting in the 'edit text' option, and that didn't work, either. :/ I usually have trouble figuring these kinds of things out, but I'll give it another attempt and try to find something that helps. I'm sure I'll get it eventually. xD

This is a beautiful piece of work. Abe is unbelieveable. That gentle shine on his skin is lovely, and his stripes are faultless. You must have studied him very carefully to get him this right.
