Description
Some expressed doubt when the Director first appeared. They would say:
"Machines are made to obey, not to lead."
The naysayers would soon eat their words when in just a few short years, the company headed by the Director skyrocketed to become the largest and most influential in the nation.
Their robotics were far beyond what was thought possible, their usefulness- unquestionable. We were hooked.
The Director's company slowly swallowed every other corporate entity and availed us to the pleasure of automation.
Gradually their robotics replaced everything from our industry, to our armies. Never again would we have to break our backs with manual labor or sacrifice our lives in a war.
This would all be done by drones of all shapes and sizes, with designs intended for anything between sweet comfort and absolute terror.
Eventually, we hit a wall of sorts. The meager material resources of our growing nation were starting to fizzle out, while our neighboring countries sat on top of theirs, largely unused.
Their ways of life were harsh and difficult, largely due to their lack of automation. We would free them of their resources and invite them to live a better life, as a part of our nation.
Our machines of war are more than capable of accomplishing this task.

All the conflicts at the border zones have so far been swift and decisive.
All the resources flooding in allows our factories to spit out endless lines of product and machines.
Our economy is the largest in the world and thanks to all of the technological innovations, the quality of life here couldn't be higher.
So what if we've been continuously at war for the last 30 years?
So what if we live under constant surveillance?
So what if we can't vote anymore?
Who cares about any of that when our prosperous future is guaranteed by our great Director?
