That's actually really scary. I have a feeling that's not a headligths I'm seeing here. From low angle and a relatively small beam of light - it looks more like a flashlight. Which makes this image even more scarier, because there is a person on foot. And try to escape the monster on foot, in the dark, good luck with that!
Does this creature, instinctively covering its face with a hand, shout something like: "Don't look at me! I'm ugly!"? Or maybe that's not shouting? Maybe this clawed hand hides cruel, demonic smile of a predator following its prey?
Anyway, I would prefer not to be there at this specific moment to find out.

Very close! The light is actually coming from a lantern. I tried to portray both the creepiness and the vulnerability of the character when exposed to light. He's from the miniseries Over the Garden Wall, an amazing little cartoon with an interesting deeper context, which I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone
