's lovely rain from her first NaNoWriMo novel, "The Hundred-Year Rose" waaay back in 2003. i've always wanted to draw a half-decent fanart of her. my sister has the best characters.

What don't I love? Her hair is gorgeous, I love the movement of her dress, the rose looks so wonderfully full (which might be a weird thing to notice, but hey, ITEMS OF SIGNIFICANCE), her hands are lovely, so on and so forth. I particularly like the specific kind of moodiness created by the textures you used, which may or may not have been intentional, but it fits quite well.
