Nice, kinda looks like card-game art ^^.
Just glanced over it at fist and thought it was some of the work PKMike did for Cryptids ( mikeazevedo.deviantart.com/art… ) It's probably the color pallet that confused me.
Something strange (that I myself am guilty of) is that you often se these images of guys in snowy environments and they're shirtless. I think Frazetta started that but It has always puzzled me.

I will make an advanced version of this as well.
I think the only thing that Mike's piece and this one have in common are the fact they're both blue, both pretty much form the knees up and both in the same portrait dimensions (the Aplibot dimensions.)

Ah okay. Been thinking about making a few pieces to send over to Aplibot. It's not like I'll work from them now because the folk they hire are really really ridiculously good, but if their AD sends a response, I'll get some notes on stuff I need to work on. Also gonna send an updated portfolio over to Wizards and se how that goes. However I really need to clean out my portfolio and almost start from scratch.
Anyway, keep up the good work!

Not sure they take the time to send feedback, as far as I know neither of them ever do that due to the crazy amount of stuff they receive in their inbox.

I think if you're close enough to what they want they might point you in the right direction. They probably won't give you an in depth crit or anything and they do get a lot of portfolios. I know a few people that have gotten feedback from Wizards asking for something to show them that you can handle their style.
Dan Warren and Dave Rapoza talked in a stream about getting feedback from companies and Aplibot does it sometimes, so I'm basing the my assumption on that. However Cryptids is the highest paying card game gig and they can basically pick whatever artists they want.
And if you don't get the gig there are probably a lot of other card games trying to cash in on what Cryptids did so you will be able to send these pieces off to them as well ^^
