this is from a series of pics i took of my friend who is a stripper, he needed some promo shots, like [link] and [link] this i took for myself... the idea is kinda "after work".he had to occasionally rest a second between shots and at one of those occasions i saw this perfect composition...
i just darkened it a bit and maybe added contrast, but no cropping or such work.
he is Sauli.

This was on the last page in your store and it really caught my eye...i dunno whether it was cause it was a different colour or what but it just stood out...I love the spontaniety (sp?) in this picture.

After looking through all of your work, this is my absoloute favorite piece. I fell in love with it instantly...the color, the pose...the emotions...EVERYTHING. this is very powerful. the composition is wonderful and the coloration is perfect for the mood. the part that really struck me was how you can see a door in the corner. i think that really adds to the sadness here. like there is an exit, but he is stuck in this lifestyle. and yeah, it doesn't say to me that stripping is bad. anyway, great shot. sometimes the best stuff comes out of the unplanned. candid portraits are often the best ones.

Nice. He looks kind of like he's in pain. I think the door is a nice touch, definitely enhancing the "after" mood ... enjoyable stuff, best of the series I think (so probably wouldn't be a good idea to use this as a promo shot
