title from the prayer because she looks like shes praying. i doubt shes praying god though...this looks a tad more serious, no offense.took this in january. the model is Fuss, poor girl had to kneel on the snowy ground so i didn't exactly have to push her to get this desperate look
great model, didn't complain once. i am not exactly loving this photo, but some friends i showed this to, did, to my surprise. i may need to meditate a little further on how i feel about this.

Certainly expresses some pretty raw views of life. Excellent presentation. Took me a minute to grasp how I felt about it. We heard a sermon this morning where the definition of "hope" can only be defined in the context of what is depicted here. Several hundred years ago St. John of the Cross wrote a work called "Dark Night of the Soul." This could have very well have been placed in his section on purgation of the soul. Anyway, great piece. Some of your other ones are even a little bit striking for me, but great impact. Keep up the great work.

Such a desperate image, the feeling of pain and suffering is painted perfectly in her pose and expression. I really feel for her, which means you did your job. You've captured a wonderful image. Keep looking into it. You'll see why people like it soon enough.

It looks almost like a painting. I love the lighting (or lack thereof).
Great expression on her face...the angle really creates the pleading look....makes me wonder what she is thinking at the time.
