I rarely draw gryphons but I somehow felt like drawing one at that time. I'm pretty often too lazy to draw the feathery wings on them.

1.) Irgendwie was man sich unter einem Hazs-Greifen vorstellen kann. 90% Katzenaktivität.
2.) Hmm, also Hufeisenförmige Hörner? Klingt net um ehrlich zu sein.
3.) Dieser wiederum scheint nicht sonderlich nett zu sein... fragt sich wer ihn wohl erzürnte.
4.) Federn sind durchaus eine interesante Zugabe für Drachen. Zumal sie ohnehin Mischwesen sind, kann durchaus mehr Fantasie reingesteckt werden.
5.) und 6.) Quasi das Gespräch zwischen Experte und Amateur.

So einen Hausgreifen hätten wohl viele gerne , hmm obwohl, der würde einem wohl die halbe Bude zerlegen und dank der Flügel wäre auch nichts ausserhalb seiner Reichweite.
Solche gemischten Skizzen mache in letzter Zeit am liebsten, da kommt noch einiges.

alle deine Charaktere sind klasse gezeichnet, aber der Persergreif hat es mir echt angetan. Der ist hammer!
Auch wenn ich selten einen Mucks von mir gebe: Ich sehe immer wieder gerne neue Bilder von dir.

Ich weiß gar nicht was mich zu dem Persergreif inspiriert hat, irgendwie ist mir der einfach in den Sinn gekommen und musste auf Papier.

Love the depth in these sketches, you can really see all the lovely shapes in each creature/character

I try to use geometric stuff to get views, angles and perspective into the characters and if I want to create complex poses I search for photoreference to see how arms and legs work then, it is really helpful. I should have started working with this stuff earlier already.

Danke! Die Drachen gehen mir auch noch immer am leichtesten und schnellsten von der Hand irgendwann hat mans dann raus, nach dem tausendsten oder so.
Ich bin ja recht pingelig, was Sauberkeit von Linien und so angeht, aber das eigentlich mehr eine Blockade, als das es hilft.

Thanks! I try to make lots of different stuff lately, oh but I should maybe try to make less stuff facing "left" the typical right-handed artist thing.
